And all of this is so unnecessary. We have shown that ordinary, even wholly inexperienced, staff can successfully transform their organizations and realize all of the expected (maximized) value if they follow the simple Value Delivery Management steps.

Staff in an electricity utility used VDM to change how they worked, supported by new systems. No one had any prior experience in large-scale change, yet the whole project (including a SAP implementation) came on time, under budget and delivered every benefit planned. Staff in an international, multi-divisional, multi-industry conglomerate used VDM tools to define nine common processes covering all of their operations, allowing them to standardize approaches and systems — something this conglomerate had failed to achieve anywhere else in the world. They adopted this result to standardize worldwide.

Staff in a pharmaceutical company redefined their corporate planning processes using VDM tools and devised and developed in 14 weeks a solution their parent company paid a consultancy over £4m to devise and develop.

In each of these case examples, the staff were not experienced in change projects — they just followed the steps the VDM processes laid out for them. For the past 18 years we have delivered our programs personally, working with clients and their staff to deliver exceptional results. Now we’ve made our proven processes available to everyone, adapting them so they can be used anywhere in the world in any size organization by all levels of staff.
